These terms apply to stashu at stashu.app, provided by Jochen Hilgers (imprint). For data protection, see the privacy policy.
The service
stashu is where you record your collections. We can change, add or remove features at any time.
Using stashu
You must be at least 16. An account belongs to one person. Keep your sign-in details secret.
Free plan
stashu is free, and the free plan stays free. Nothing costs money unless you order it explicitly.
What the free plan includes, such as how many photos and documents an account can hold, is stated on stashu.app and in the app. We can change its scope and limits, for example when costs rise. Tighter limits apply only to accounts created afterwards. Existing accounts keep the limits they had.
If an account's use goes far beyond a personal collection, we can limit it further.
Your content
Your content is yours. You allow us to store it and show it to you and to the recipients of your share links, as far as running stashu requires.
You are responsible for your content. A share link shows its content to anyone who has the link.
What is not allowed
You must not:
- store or share illegal content
- attack stashu or get around its limits and security measures
- read stashu automatically
- use stashu for anything other than your collections
Reporting illegal content
Report content behind a share link to hello@stashu.app, with the link and your reasons. We review every report and disable illegal content. Whoever reported it and whoever it concerns learn our decision and the reasons (Art. 16 and 17 DSA).
Ending use
You can delete your account in the settings at any time.
We can end your use with four weeks' notice by email, or shut stashu down; for serious breaches, immediately. Except after serious breaches, you can export your data first.
Availability
We promise no particular availability. Keep important documents outside stashu too. Values and lookup results come from your own entries or third-party catalogues and are without warranty.
Liability
We are liable as provided by law.
Changes
We announce changes to these terms by email at least four weeks ahead. Changes the law requires, or that do not put you at a disadvantage, apply from the announced date. For others we ask for your consent. Without it, we can end your use with four weeks' notice.
Governing law
German law applies. Mandatory consumer protection rules of the country you live in are not affected. Where the German and English versions differ, the German one prevails.
